RIGShare LLC ("RIGShare," "we," "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the RIGShare Robotics & AI platform at www.rigshare.app/robotics-ai and any associated mobile applications.
Information you provide: Account information (name, email, phone, password), profile information (city, state, ZIP code), equipment listing details, payment information (processed securely by Stripe), identity verification documents, messages between users, and MFA enrollment data (TOTP secrets).
Automatically collected: Device information, usage data, IP address and approximate location, cookies and similar tracking technologies.
Remote session data: When you use remote access features, we collect session telemetry (CPU, GPU, memory, network usage), session events (connect, disconnect, commands), heartbeat data, and session duration for billing and audit purposes.
Third-party information: Payment processing data from Stripe, identity verification results, and social login provider information.
We use collected information to: operate the Service; process transactions; facilitate communication between users; verify identity and prevent fraud; personalize your experience; monitor remote session health and performance; enforce usage limits and billing; send administrative messages and security alerts; enforce our Terms of Service; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.
We may share information with: other users to facilitate transactions; payment processors (Stripe); service providers who assist in operations; law enforcement when required by law; and in connection with a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure storage, access controls, and regular security assessments. Payment information is processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Remote session tokens are SHA-256 hashed before storage. API keys for remote endpoints are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. MFA is available for remote session access. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Remote session events and telemetry are retained for audit and compliance purposes. Certain information may be retained after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven years.
You have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your account; opt out of marketing communications; and manage cookie preferences. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@rigshare.app.
We use the following categories of cookies:
Essential (always active): Supabase authentication session cookies, CSRF protection tokens. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
Functional: Geolocation cookies (geo_state, geo_city) used to show equipment near your location. These expire after 24 hours.
Analytics: Sentry error replay and performance traces used to monitor service health and fix bugs. These are only activated with your consent.
When you first visit the Service, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies or contacting us at support@rigshare.app.
The Service integrates with Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and storage), Sentry (error monitoring and session replay), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the platform with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
